i have a 2003 focus 1.6 . recently it has been feeling a bit groggy low down the revs and some times has a slight hesitation on acceleration. it has been using a bit more fuel than normal recently as well.

i did the old "press the millage button trick" tonight and its come up dtc 262. i did this a month ago and it said dtc none.

apparently that code relats to injector circuit 1 high, what does this mean and could this be linked

the car was serviced in august by me and has full dealer history apart from that and is on 84k

any help would be great

 

Try servicing it mate, i was having fuel pressure problems and then changed the fuel filter and that solved it, the fuel filter had been on there some time and was clogged up with crap.
