I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Get off the bandwagon fuck sake. My first car was a ford, i have always loved ford as a marque. Because i don't like certain models, it doesn't mean i have a hatred in general. Personally mk1 and mk2 fiestas are fucking pants too!! And i like the look of mk1 and 2 escorts...but i have drove both and i would rather drive a corsa tbh!!!
And yes i took the blindfold off and i tried the french scene. I loved it and currently still have a saxo vts which has served me well!! Variety is the spice of life after all...no point being completely boring by having the blinkers on!!

So im being called Jealous because i don't own a S1 and its probably because i can't afford one?? And the mentality of kids these days?? What fucking planet you lot on!!!!??????
If i had s1 money...it would be spent elsewhere because i think s1s are shite. Im far from jealous about some randomer getting his old s1 back and i had the money to buy a couple of s1s...but i blew it on supercharging my old saxo. Its horses for courses at the end of the day. Good luck with your "toy".

i'd love a mk3 xr3i but there pricey and only wanted a dailey so went for the mk4. i'm glad your getting your s1 there's nothing better than getting a car back you sold that wish you hadn't .

I've had a S1 106 Rallye & they're stupid amounts of fun, but you can't love the things.
Getting on with old Escorts is being able to get the power out/down, most people who can't go after it for being too brass, but it's 30+ years old FFS!

Good for you bud,of all the cars ive owned theres 3 i would have back though 2 are probally in the scrap yard.My daily is a 08 Fiesta Zetec S,my 'toy' is a 30 year old Mk1 Fiesta,totally standard and original,i like all classic/retro Fords and compared to all/most modern cars they always get the looks.

Must feel weird having your old car back again. Good on you though. S1's are cool.
As for other post's on this thread... Having been 17 and had mates with pug's/saxo's etc, I'm glad I wasn't one of those who jumped on the bandwagon and wanted one. Keep it Ford lol. Much simpler.

Nice one Fella on getting your old S1 back, I bought an S1 back in 1990 and kept it for 4yrs, would love another one, was tempted back last year to buy one again but picked up a Cossie instead but you never know in the future... Enjoy your S1.
