mine has not split but not really had any use out of the car over the last few years... feels much better to drive than the worn out old one that had split.. when the old one went i was on a dual carridgeway and it pulled the car violently to the right.. i should have checked sooner why the steering felt sloppy but i had put heat wrap around the old one years ago so didnt even check it..

Motor factors should sell repair kits. They are pretty ugly though with bolts etc.

The Burton poly one looks a little neater.

the poly one in mine is holding up ok so far .. i flattened the curved plates as the new bush is totally flat as when i first fitted it with the original brackets you could see the poly flexing where it was not clamped tight all over.. now its all compressed properly it looks to be doing its job with no visible flexing.. just wait for it to melt being next to the screamer pipe....

You got the entire steering arm/UJ/rubber ?

Or just a repair section for the rubber ?

Ahh right, it's a Landrover part. I thought you were meaning it was a Ford fitment

Is the rubber bolted on both sides then ? Or riveted like OEM parts ?

It's riveted same as the ford one fits the same way just different shaft. The bush is identical. . I got it for when the poly one starts to wear out .
