Does anyone remember a film from New Zealand about a racing driver who had to get a parcel across the country or something? I'm a bit hazy about it, I saw it once when I was a kid. 70's film I think.

It's funny how you remember things from the past as being good, then look at them again and realise your judgement has improved over the years.

I remember a film I watched as a kid about a father and son that had to drive a truck carrying a missile or something across America whilst terrorist's tried to steal it. Ring a bell to anyone ? Mid 80's I think.
