No not really worth anything unless its a new item. I have a box with what must be 20 sets of std cams and never get any demand for them.

Can't they be reprofiled?

The cost saving for getting a cam reprofiled against buying one new is huge!

Put em on Ebay as 'secret' cams or maybe 'rare' BD8's

If you buy a reprofiled cam then the company ask for your standard cams in exchange so they would be useful to someone buying cams and not having to remove their own cams say if they wanted to save the surcharge or carry on using their car

Rich,

Yes they can, but the choice of profile is very limited as in order to get any extra lift you have to grind the base circle smaller, which usually results in problems when running hydraulic tappets. I.e. they can be noisy

I personally only advise new blanks when changing cams.
