I have a fiesta rs turbo and the offside front rubs when you go over bumps, the car is fairly low but it only happens on one side it also makes a lot of creeking noises when on lock i think i may have a broken spring or a knackered shock,i'am told the shocks and springs are the black type spaxs, if the spring is knackered can i use any springs or should they be the same,i think it is lowered by 35mm from the standard rs turbo springs, cliff

My FRST does the same and so does my mates. It's just one of them things. The drivers side shock always tends to become more lazy quicker as its the side that is used the most. If it only rubs on the one side I'm guessing it only scrubs over large bumps at higher speeds. Changing the shock is really the only way to deal with it but really I'd just be more careful when driving and go slower over the larger dips and bumps. Jamie
