Default Roll Centres and Steering geometry!-Discuss!

Thought this may be a bit of light relief from the slating going on!!

sorry mods if shes in the wrong plcae though tit might be interesting

Im gettin well interested in suspension set up etc and wanna know bot more about roll centres for a start.

at me work we build national hot rods and was talkin to the boss man he says the roll centres are measured for example on the hot rod from wheel centre line and panhard rod(wheere the imaginary lines cross)?

this sound right just got allan staniforths book competition suspension etc and but uses different suspension points to calculate it me boss says roll centre would be onthe out side of the car??

heres a pic of one of our 206 evo hot rod!

Another good book for you to have a look at is "Race Car Vahicle Dynamics" by William and Douglas Milliken - chapter 12 on chassis set-up is well worth a read. ISBN 1-56091-526-9)
