Default FAO - AP brake guru's

I have a couple of questions regarding some AP calipers i am looking at buying

They are for the rear of my fiesta,

The calipers in question are the CP5040-4S4 & CP5040-5S4 leading variety that are to suit 315mm or 330mm x 28mm thick disc

http://www.apracing.com/info/product...tres_2679_2678

The question i want to know is can i use a disc in between those 2 sizes stated as i have some 325mm x 28mm discs that are perfect and give me enough clearance for what i need so i want to stick with them? i assume as it is between the 2 it will be fine?

Also the other question is what pad would you recommend for the rear set up?

I don't want a really good pad for the rear if that makes sense as it would be better if the performance is less than the front which will be using AP 6 pots fitted with the DS2500 most likely

Any help and info appreciated

Thanks
Marc

If the caliper is designed to run 315/330 discs then 325 will be fine, I always use the same pads front and rear.

Thanks Martin

I have a bias adjuster on the pedal box and 1 in the rear brake line as well so i can dial down the rear braking enough to use the same pads all round i suppose

Thanks

I'd bin off the inline bias adjuster if you have a bias pedal box!

It is already plumbed in now and is mounted and would require new lines etc if i removed it, if it is not needed surely it can be left fully open and will make no odds?

Thanks
Marc
