How's this for customer service

Mate picked his new EVO FQ400 up on Saturday.. Noticed it was idle'ing abit high.. Was at nearly 2000rpm

Phoned Mitsi dealer in Ware at 9 this morning. Tells the manger, problemo, and wants it sorted Manager bloke rings back 5 mins later, and says "Im on my way over to yours and we are off to Owen Developments to fix it" http://www.owendevelopments.com/ Now my mate reckons they dropped everything to help.. ok, so was only a case on plugging in the laptop but still, either werent busy or Mitsi paid them a shit load

Owen developments (ive never heard of them but apparently having looked at there website they designed the turbo etc on the car) Tehy chucked my mate the keys to there EVO 8 FQ400 track car and said go play in in for 30mins Having just got off of the phone to them, he reckons there car is foookin awesome.. 440lb torque Reckons he got 160 out of it, whilst wheelspinning in 3rd gear 4wd Also mentioned some stats, dunno if its pub talk tho 0-100 6.6secs 0-60 2.xx secs

Flow Race Engines in Warwick build the engines, Owen do the mapping and turbos.

That's some good service (as it should be!)

I live near Luton mate

I have been overseas for all of last year, so you wouldnt have seen it about

I used to use it daily to and from work etc... but now resides in my garage as i cant be fooked

Also, very rarely go into Stopsley mate.. mainly lewsey farm as a mate lives there

yeah....didn't mean that you should expect to be given the keys to a modded 400 though, lol

Good marketing though - customer get his FQ400 sorted speedily, and given a quick blast in a modded version (which they have modded), for him then to get back in his less powered car.....hmmmm

exactly what I was thinking... he wouldnt shut up about it

I would assume the warranty would be void tho.. apparently, they still use the turbo he already has, so maybe not
