heated screen

The heated screen on my 2004 mondeo only works in patches ,mainly on the passengers side, anyone know the cause please

that will be damaged elements in the screen due to stone chips etc.only fix is a screen replacement im afraid

Age, vibration etc, most heated front windscreens will tend to go like this cause the wire in them is so small it can easily break

if fully comp bung a claim in and pay your glass cover of if £50etc or say saying its cracked

if its had a repair done, the fitter could have drilled to far and touched the elements, no way around this apart from pay your excess and have it replaced mate.
