Depends what you mean by best, should think to most people the best car I have driven is Porkies F430 Spyder, and its certainly a hell of a machine, but TBH I have more of a laugh in my nova than anything else Ive ever drive so far, so its that for me, or my old trackday mini, miss that car so much ![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
YUM (daves old escort at 700bhp) is certainly up there too though.

Most fun Ive had on track in the last couple of years in a car was in my williams powered clio at bedford desperately trying to fight off porkie in a very similar (at the time, his is now much better) clio when he knows the track a lot better than me and is a better driver.
I think that being out on track with a mate in a well matched car is the most fun you can have, and it doesnt really matter greatly what the car is.
Most fun for me just in terms of the lunacy of driving it at all and the way I can throw it around is my nova, but the handling isnt good and the performance is ok but not the quickest thing I have driven.

R8 V10, without a doubt, easiest car to drive, and actually, I felt as if it wanted me to drive it faster! So planted round the corners it was unreal and the engine, not only sounded amazing, it just pulled as pulled and pulled no matter what the rev range was.

Probably a mix up between my old 944 Turbo and my MK! MR2, the mk1 had the 3sgte lump in and was a quick little car, had 280bhp and everything else uprated to go with it and in the dry it just gripped, bit more respect needed in the wet but awesome wee car from a drivers point of view
mate had a westfield with a QED built XE, that was just an all out mental track car though.

havent passed my test yet
but..
The nicest car ive been in is my grandads conti gt. Has the nicest interior, and in my standards pulls/turns/stops like an absolute wrong'n
Best for shits and giggles is my dads 24v cossie mk3 capri thats still with the 2.8i badges on it, or my mates 1981 chevy c-10 because of the ability of it to lay rubber, and the noise it makes. Theres vids of it on youtube![Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Fastest (not road legal) ive been in is a 2-seater race car round brands hatch. i was 11 at the time but ive never been so terrified in my life
I remember them saying it had a 1.8 audi engine in it, but we were lapping porsche turbo's

The best peforming car was my old mans old group a escos on 2.5 bar boost, I can honestly say the performance from 30-130 was scary fast. Just lit up all fournhot slicks without thinking about it, i think circa 740bhp at that boost!
Most fun car was my old mans latest toy, e39 m5.
Shit tyres, and awesome suspension and brakes makes for so much smiling, had it drifting at near 90/100mph (wasn't looking too much) through fourth gear I havnt giggled so much on track ever!

Ferrari 458 Italia.
Perfect balance of driver aids and pure mechanics. A real event to drive and lots of fun without being afraid of it. Can be enjoyed by an average driver almost as much as someone who is able to wring it's neck.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
![Default](https://passionford.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif)
Most fun car I've drove was my dads ac cobra replica, had a hi comp big cammed 327 ci chevy engine and a 4 speed box, was an absolute animal to drive fast, any gear and rev put your foot down and it was off! Had around 440 bhp and weighed very little, exhausts side pipes about 2 foot away from your
head so on over run it popped and banged and shot flames, for sheer excitement while driving that's the one car I will never forget, also had a shot of a 600 brake skyline track car, best handling and brakes I've ever known but ac cobra all day long !!

Most fun iv ever had in a car is an AX GT, wernt exactly pretty or ferrari quick but they sure did move well with the back seats, spare wheel and uneccessaries removed.
my mums mini mayfair is pretty nippy too
its like a well trimmed go kart
Fastest car iv driven would be a 2.0 escort gti,,,,

Best circuit car I've driven is probably a Ariel Atom, superb package but you are kicking most people's arses so I do know where chip is coming from about lesser cars being more fun. I had a great time driving my nova, always surprised people although it wasn't especially quick off gas.
Road car wise although I'm not the biggest merc fan the sl55 AMG or S63 AMG ( I think thats what their called ) were staggeringly fast and comfortable, running costs are far beyond what I can afford for a road car though

My old MK2 Golf 8V Gti. Not the quickest, but was so eager and I just loved chucking it about. Abused the hell out of it and it never let me down. Was genuinely gutted to have sold it in a way I've not felt since.
