Default ford transit problem

lad's i have a transit van 2001 2.4 rwd but it is down in power and hard on fuel at the moment. It's not of a cylinder or anything like that it fell's like the turbo ain't cutting in any idea's whats wrong

check for leaks in boost pipes, check the turbo aswel

Intercoolers are known to split on them as well occasionally. And turbo actuator rods can sieze

fuel filter, boost leak, cylinder head temp sensor, siezed wastegate, check turbos free read codes

no boost leak's checked that just no boost i think it is electrical problem soi think the temp sensor could be worth cheaking thanks mate

take the 4x 15mm off the manifold and start it up and see if it revs up properly

Is there a loud diesel knock as well? They do suffer with the pump timing solenoids packing up, this causes lack of power also

it rev's fine as is and under a tight pull (climbing a hill) there would be black smoke

It's not as bad as it sounds if it is that mate, you can change the solenoid with taking. the pump off

mine was like that, was a load of water in fuel filter, changed and was back to normal

mine was like dat turns out fuel filter was blocked.when i replaced it i got 100 km more on a tank of diesel.

had similar problem with a tranny b4 changed the egr valve and it was fine could b that mate,

right guy's i got an hour on my transit today and when i take the vacuum pipes of the little black switch screwd to the rear of the slam panel on the passinger side(its something to do with the egr valve) it drives twice better

p0149 and p1564 codes coming up.Ive checked the timing solenoid seems to be fine.Anyone have any solutions.
