Dont see how having more power, torque and less emissions would be a shit idea and less fuel consumption.
If it dose as they say then is puts a normal engine to shame especially if it scales well too.

Just looked at it again (a few too many ales last night). Whilst it's a clever idea, it's far too complicated and in reality the valve lift/duration/timing technology that all car makers are developing will take off, rather than these engines.

It would be beneficial to a car maker that wanted a square shaped engine, which this could offer. However when they quote an increase in torque, power etc... it's against an N/A vehicle

Only watched the video my self at the mo, going to have a read later. would be interested to see if they have a actual engine and not just a computer working on bast case information.

Basically seems to me its like aimed at competing with a TDI

as above, would like to know what there comparing there engine against to get those figures.
