what im going to be doing is im on the look out 4 a engine at the moment i have about 1500 for the engine is that realistic ?
then iv prised a few things up would you say these prises are fair or will i find parts hard 2 find for the money i want to spend on them
gearbox 300-400
car loom 50- 70
engine loom-100
rear axle - 250 - 300
turbo dont know what 1s best 2 use between 250 -350
exhaust system 150-200
clutch dont know what 1 to get 150-200
suspention ill probly get 2nd hand off a breaker ie yorkshire rs spares
then all hoses i know theres loads 2 get but most probly buy 2nd hand
tank and pumps 100-200
then its things like a new head gasket the 1 where they never blow
decent rad and intercooler dont know what id pay 4 them
is that reason able money or could i find some bargins in there if i keep a good look out ?

aye mate that looks good tbh but u could find sum bargains on here or ebay or that but yeah go for it mate, best bet is to go to a cossie breakers and try gettin a whole bunch off bits,
330 is an idle road car mate but is standard for will b great compared to the old 1.6 lol
if it was me ad get a standard engine and get it in and runnin the run it for 6months/year then build up the power from there

You will also need a different beam and driveshafts!
There is alot of difference between the Cosworth and lesser models so take this into consideration before you even attempt to make a start, plus remember you will NEED to inform your insurer of the changes and hence a increase in your premium, else your policy is invalid!
This is why it's easier just to buy one outright, as in the long run it's probably cheaper!
You are looking at stage 3 power, so T34 turbo, 3 BAR MAP sensor, 803 Bosch green injectors or Siemens equivilants, this is plenty enough for road use!
If wanting around 280HP (Stage 1) then you simply need a remap!
