escos running rough
me mates small turbo escos keeps cutting out then running rough when it restarts for a few mins,missing and spluttering,he thinks its the throttle position sensor and wants to replace that but dont know where it is and what it looks like?
anyone shed any light?

one way to check that if it runs ok from start
then put the throttle down a little take off and then the problem starts
restart and again or put on a collins monitor if you know someone got one to check the position
does not sound like the TPS
i would look at a sensor or MAP Sensor !

he's just rang to say he's done that,and it does what you just said,what colour is the map sensor on these? he says he cant find it,but i told him it was brown and where it is on a saff so he might be looking in wrong place.
