Mattig did a similar kit for the MK2 Astra. a lad round these parts had one around 95/96

thanks for all the coments on my escort on ebay it cost 11000 to do the kit and eng mods plus wheels, sounds steering wheel, 2x rear tyres cost 470 quid,respray was 3000 not to mention the 3yrs it has taken to do it all so 6k in my opinion isnt that bad but what do i know only been into rst for 20yrs nice to get support from this site thks all

its been a great car to own and gets the looks but once its sold ill b back to standard bodywork and upgrade eng and running gear next project will b a cossie i think

when it was put as rank, i was expecting worse.
Maybe that is why in my opinion it looks ok? i personally wouldnt pay 6k, but i bet there is someone out there that would.

I think, perosnally, if that had a massive spec Zetec turbo in it, stripped out and caged it would be very, very cool. Imagine it as a lairy track day weapon.

I think that looks very well done, not a lover of the steering wheel more topgun than RS turbo but overall a good looking car, does look like it should be rear wheel drive but alot of time has gone in to it to get a decent finish i would imagine.

I like it, loose the Morrettes and painted a darker colour to hid some of the lines and its spot on. Was a dark blue cabby kicking around that was nice.
