Default Help can you tell me what this is please

Hi,

was driving home today and heard a bang under the bonnet went to have a look and found this leaking can anyone tell me what it is please and what it dose.

It is a 98 T-rag ford focus 1.8 petrol

it's just a crossover pipe for the cooling system.
drain system, clean area with thinners and use some chemical metal to seal it up.
that's the cheap and easy fix.

i bet a new one is not that dear. The cooling system is such an important part of any car that i would not bodge it in this way
