Default Help!

Hello everyone!

I hope you don't think i'm cheeky having only just joined but i'm desperate for advice.

I have a 2004 Mondeo Estate TDCI 6 speed 130BHP, the car stood for 2 weeks whilst i was away, on the first day of driving on my return, the glow plug light started to flash and then eventually the engine warning light came on.

It became difficult to start as though running on 3 cylinders, with a smell of unburnt diesel, once warm things were reasonably ok, with only a small loss of power. A friend checked it on his diagnostic computer, no faults were identified, i changed the glow pugs and cam sensor, but the problem persists.

Any help would be appreciated, i've had Fords on and off since i was 16, but this is baffling me!!
