Ive got an immaculate 3 door 2.0 focus ESP, over the past weeks ive been tastefully modifying it with each weekly pay packet with what i have had spare, its black, so i have gone for tinted windows all round, dark smoked rear lights, and bumper lights, de badged, black crystal side reps, lowered on black refurbed st170 alloys, the all black look really, but im stuck with the front end and what to do.

One thing i know is i want darker headlights, and i dont want the usual mk1 headlights because i hate anything chrome or shiny, its too tacky for me.

My current options where the black ST170 headlights, obviously modified wiring to suit, ive fitted black crystal indicators to the mk1 bumper, but now im thinking of fitting a mk1 facelift front bumper and basically converting the front end to look like a st170, but then the rear bumper will look odd being a mk1 so id have to change that, but then id practically end up with a st170 rep on the outside, but id have the plastic sill covers still

Anyone know any other type of headlights or options i could go down for the front end?

Ive done everything else i want to do to it, its just mainly i dont know what headlights to fit, i want the ST170 darker units, but i dont want the orange lenses in them, how if possible do you remove them? The second problem is the ST170 upper and lower grills go for stupid money, and the fogs even worse !

Im going to buy a pair of ST170 lights, dark ones, think theyre only 75 posted on ebay a pair but unsure if theyre dark grey inside or black? i want black you see, maybe ill just buy a set of the chrome standard facelift lights and dismantle them spray them black then tint spray the indicator lense black i know you can buy the clear indicator lenses for the facelift lights but Ł20 for two crappy bits of plastic seems pointless ! id rather the whole light was black with just the bulb surrounds left chrome ! like bassboys RS , oh and its easy to extend the wiring up to the headlights from the bumper

I believe there is someone on the RS Owners Club who can split the lights apart and paint them for you however you want them...best popping over there if you arent confident in doing this and posting in the Focus section

what are yours on your RS bassboy? are they de tangoed ST170 lights?
