Well looking at your replies shifty,your pretty well set up for business to be fair,only trouble I can see is that doing the job your in now I'm guessing your on say £35k basic plus expenses/overtime?might be hard to get anywhere that for at least the first few years,it can be very tough then?

Yeah, I'm pretty much on that mate...29k basic + expenses,overtime and mileage....
I know I won't be making that sort of money for a long time, if at all but I'm hoping quality of life will increase .
If I can sell enough to pay the mortgage/bills and have 1 holiday a year, I'll be a happy man
I'm going to have a proper sit down chat with all my friends/family in the trade and try get something concrete sorted. I.e, tyres/maintenance/repairs/weigh in's etc...even collection and delivery
I just hope I can make it work, even just on a small scale as I can't see myself working away forever

Since getting back off holiday I've not had any free time to get back onto this thread....
I'll start by saying a massive thank you to all who have commented, you've all been a BIG help
I've been speaking to my friend who breaks the hondas from his unit, he is going to apply for trade plates as he has been trading for a while now. This would mean he can pick up cars and store them for me if I'm working away.....
It also means there is a potential buisiness partnership could spring from this, should all go well !
We've both been scouting around for as much info as we can get and we came accross this :

Does this look legit or is it just some nob head trying to scam money out of people for info freely available on the net?
