2wd /4wd prop shafts

Default 2wd /4wd prop shafts

can anyone tell me the differences between a 2wd prop and a 4x4 prop are the flanges the same ie on the diff side and is the bolt pattern the same the gearbox end , is the any difference in lenght also.
iam running 4x4 but with 2wd rear diff that why iam asking

any help would be great

They will both fit your diff

The 4we is shorter and bolts in the 2wd is longer and slide in

The 2wd gearbox end has a shaft that goes into the box. The 4wd has a bolt on shaft to the gearbox. The rear ends to the diffs are the same. I ran a 4wd Escort with a 2wd diff using a 4wd prop
