Default Can you paint Aeroquip and braided hoses?

As above. I've bought a new breather which is Aeroquipped but now I've test fitted it the blue and red ends just don't fit in with the bay and stand out a bit and will be even more ovbious as I have to Aeroquip the rocker cover as well. Can they be painted? Also, what about the actual fuel and brake hoses themselves as I would rather they were anthricite or black anyway and need to be removed to run them thorugh the car anyway. Can they be painted or would they just look shit.

If you make sure they are free of oil before painting I can't see a problem, only issue is the swivel fittings may scratch the paint if moved

I painted mine once, they held up pretty well tbh

The only issue I had was trying to tighten them without damaging the paint
