i was hoping for a more postive / helpful response as going to a ford dealer means i pay ford prices, this and other forums are there to help members with their problems and to give practical guidance and impart experiences memebrs has had - may be cosmo v6 misses this point.

i also have an issue with my stereo when listening to the AM frequency (talk sport etc) when i break a sreeching noise comes out of the speakers, not sure if its wired up wrong etc and yes before you reply v6 i have taken to a dealer who diagnoised no fault found but big bill please, arguement, counter arguement, more arguement agreement that customer is right hence my desire to find alternatives to the main dealer network and the ecat help for other car projects

what other issues are you having with the car then?

 

i've had bmw's inthe past and used realoem is there a version like this for ford?
other parts i need are wheel trims, a door mirror, door skin, moudlings various, window handle, dont want to pay excess and identifying right part number from sites can prove difficult

it's it's panels you want, then the only person to go to realistically for those hard to get bits of a user called charlie luciano, he's like the a-team for ford parts

but mirrors and handles and stuff you can find from many various other sources, it's thinks like trims and panels that are specific to a particular model that may be difficult to get

you can also ask on the middx rsoc site too as we've got a deal with some of the ford places that do ex dealer stock, user 1-pd is your main man there
