Craig Hayters escos
spotted Craigs motor on a trailer being towed by the MTS van down the M4,
looked alittle high at the front so im guessing there wasnt an engine sitting in the bay.
anyone know whats happening with it? looks mega clean.

Craig has sold this car , he didnt buy marks car the new owner of the escort has had a bit of bother with the engine but craig has kindly gave him a very decent chunk of money to sort it which is very good of him i doubt i would have been that generous because of how unpredictable cossies are.

As far as I know the car was sold in good faith that the engine was the spec as described and after Tom checking the car over and driving it he was happy. Sadly the engine let go not long after he got the car, and as Carlo said Craig offered some cash back to help cover costs.
Im with Carlo that I really dont know if I would have done the same as Craig, yes you would feel bad for the new owner but these are old cars and with any tuned engine it can go from running sweet to a box of bits very quickly.

Any1 to give some 1 £2000 back after selling a car is too much of a nice guy IMO ,
Check a car for 3 hours then buy it , then it goes tits up , it's the boys problem not craigs So for craig to give the boy 2 grand back there shouldnt need to be any other side to the story, I heard the car running was sweet as a nut and more than likely was when they done the deal ,
Every 1 knows cossies go bang at any time .

And to be honest I reckon this post should be removed , otherwise it will just cause your usual passionford bitching post , and people falling out over nothing , the car went wrong on the new owner and the previous owner generously gave him a good amount of cash he never had to, should be the end of it .

I dont see why it should be removed, it was a genuine intrest of mine after seeing the car on the back of trailer,
I only wanted to find out what the plans where for the car as it seems to be sitting high at the front, thought it might have been in for upgrades or something. i had no idea that the new owner had some bad luck with the car

Robski you're a brave guy. Someone sound enough to give a buyer back £2000 after hearing he's had problems is going to have a lot of friends. I'm one of them and you'd do well to go and hide under a pile of coats somewhere until this blows over. Poof.
