Default 2WD Cosworth exhaust manifold question..

Does anyone know what size socket fits the bolts that secure the two halves of the manifold together please? I.e, the "trouser section" bolts??

I've tried 10mm, 11mm, 3/8" and 7/16" but they're all either too big or too small

Any help appreciated

I thought it was a 10,3/8"? Well thats what ive been using on everything elsa!

Are you sure you have not rung the end off so it feels to big?

That's what i thought as well, it's a brand new manifold so the bolts are as new, just wondered if they were some weird size lol.

As Tony says 12 point ten mm socket

Or just a ordinary ten mm spanner is what I do them with when they're in the car

Cheers for the replies, tbh I thought they were 10mm, it must be my cheap shit sockets that I've got at home lol, it'll have to wait until tomorrow when I can get a decent socket from work.

they are tight
I use a 12 point 10 mm snapon spanner and a good swift crack with a Birmingham spanner
