Default sapphy dashboards

i have a 1990 sapphy, and really like the later "hooded" dash of the 92 onwards cars. does anyone know if the dash is a straight swap? i know it will fit as in physical size, but the swithches are slightly different, so wanted to know if my plugs from a 90 loom will fit the later switches and if my clocks will fit in the later dash? anyone help?.....

Switches fit, but to get the hood to go on properly you have to fit the entire dash top as the facelifts is slightly different to accomodate the hood.

if you've got a 90 spec car with the larger glovebox on the passenger side and the drivers glovebox the top part is a straight swap bar the switches

but the actual instrument cluster has a different part number as it's a bit tight to get in and out of the newer dash with the older unit

the heater controls are slightly different but they will fit from your car as they wil have the stop for the fans built into the sliders

the a piller trims may also be a little different
