Right ive got a 1.8 115ps zetec engine which will be taking on some bike carbs and some other bits n bobs to throw into a mk4 escort. Not realli planning on throwing mega money at it but would like to change the cams for something a touch more aggresive.

I know you can slot the cams from the 2.0 mondeo silvertop in but i need to know if there are any variations and what will i need to do to fit them i.e what bearings, seals and how do i go about setting them up?

130 spec are a touch more aggressive than the 2.0 Mondeo ones. You can't use black top (Focus ST170) cams in a silver top

 

I thought the 130 spec would be a touch more aggresive than the mondys however there a tad more difficult to get hold of and are twice the price.

So basically 2.0 cams from a silvertop are straight drop in for me then, im watching a set on flea-bay for £45 is that a fair price??
