Default removing old seam sealer/underseal?

Taking the old front panel and wings off my cabby tonight and the front of the bloody car is glued together with seam sealer!!
Is there anything I can use/spray on to get shut of it? I want to take at least the inner arches back to bare metal and its 1/2 inch think in some places!

wire disk on a grinder, a flap disk if you dont mind the edges smoothing off and maybe not getting right in edges (til it heats the metal)

That's pretty much what i'm doing
The bastard cars been sat in the garage 3 years untouched, and once its on the road I don't plan on touching it again, so the lots coming off to make sure there's no more rot hidden anywhere

On a side note, I'm considering binning the L8 management and going for MS. Opinions?
I'm also considering binning the cvh and going ZT Champagne tastes and lemonade money

too right, I've tried the others but to be honest they all need variable speed grinders as they end up destroying the grinder.

Still takes time with the knotted brush but it is by far the quickest method IMO I tried a heat gun and scraper but it just didn't seem to touch it

I bought a wire attachment from Clarke for about £14 and it did an ace job at getting the worst of it off.
I shoved mine on my buffer which is variable speed as they do generate a lot of heat.
No way round it being a very labour intensive job sadly.
