Saff cossie side trim

Hi guys what's the best stuff to stick the side trims back on after a respray?

some good quality double sided foam strip. about 2mm thick i would say

I did try some at the weekend and it lifted off, thin it was some cheep stuff from local motor factors

I used some stuff from what i stuck my roof lining with, cant think what it is now but ill find out!
