Default Escort Cabrio SE500, what to look out for?

One for sale up the road and don't know much about them but it needs a little TLC and its good to go.

What should I be looking for?

Also the car has the Tennis Recaro Seats as apposed to the grey leather. Is up for 1500 but I know he'll drop the price if its not all original.

check for rust like you would check a rs turbo, basically everywhere. Although the cabrio's don't seem as bad, mine is solid

my tennis cab back in the day was proper mint - not one bit of rust on it anywhere - should have kept it.
