mechanic help please
Good evening fellow ford drivers...
Always been paranoid there's possibly something up with my clutch/gearbox or maybe rear bearing
Back end used to hum a tiny bit on passenger side, gears have been sticky on a few occasions, but now when i nail it in 2nd and 3rd, once higher up the revs, there's a noticeable noise, sounds identical to wind rushing in a hole or slightly open window,
car is a fiesta st, 2008, 42k if it helps
thanks,

the noise that gets louder the faster you go is the wheel bearing.
the sticky gearstick is one of the bushes in the linkage somewhere ill have to ask my friend basically if the cars been abused the bush splits and expands inside the linkage and makes it stiff to operate the gears ill ask my mate who fixed my cousins, just a matter of taking it off and filing the inside of the bush down so its not as tight around where its mounted too or something so it can move freely, ill get back to you on that of what and were exactly it is.
