if its running a YB then i would take it to mark shead (MA developments) or up to blackpool to the guys at MSD.

heard nothing but good stories about both, depends who is more local, but for the best service I would travel

i think mark will use msd chips so if the car isnt a strange spec then thats the way forward getting mark to set it up

might have to speak to mark and see what he says as the engine is pretty much reguar stuff tbh.

surley if it has the correct chip and all other settings such as timing,co ect is all right surley it should run right?

am i right thinking that live mapping refines the map to suit the engine making the driveability fueling better?

rough spec is as follows

205 block
new forged pistons
forged rods
all new bolts/bearings.
rebuilt head ( new valves, guides , valve seat cut)
std cams
t34
l8 wasted spark

so its not realy groundbreaking stuff lol

sounds like that will be fine to just buy the chip from stu ! yeh live map will make it a little better but it wont be far out on a msd chip
