right me mates got a small turbo escos,it misses when its cold,then it warms up and stops missing but cuts out when your coming upto lights or stopping,as soon as you dip the clutch it drops to 1k revs then dies,anyone know obvious things to check and the location of em?

and my saff has started misfiring from cold but when it warms its fine,thats had new plugs and leads,ignition amp etc,any suggestions for that?

Idle Speed control valve sticking shut and coolant temp sensor wrongly reading cold on the Escort, I reckon.

Maybe coolant temp sensor on the Saff if it's only when cold.

Might be 1 of the coil packs breaking down.

right where are these on the escort? i know where iscv is but dont no where the cts is?

you mean the coilpacks on the rocker where plugs are glenn? they look like they have already been changed.
