Surprised at that, was more like double that difference last time I looked but its not really a segment of the market I bother looking at much as I cant afford any of them.

Sounds like a nice car Phil, and at least its not silver this time

Not a fan of the private reg, the displaying '2PAC' thing you're into has always been super bent IMO.

Look forward to pics of the car though.

It must be one of those bits of information which I've learned by osmosis... because I certainly don't inhale the contents of heat magazine or thumb through my collection of Sheryl Crow albums of an evening.

It's not called a 360 Modena F12 though is it?? ...because you're planning to put on an F12 plate with illegal spacing.

yep seems strange 360s have gone up in value the last few years, there were writer a few up for 35k, but the 430 has dropped a fair bit in the last few years.

Not that I can afford either too !

Always liked the 360's.

if you like your plate then thats all that matters, but personally i wouldnt be seen dead with a 2pac number plate. and would cry with laughter at anyone with one.

Nope, got all the other body panels as well for it, and an LM front end, it all came with a project I recently bought.

Just waiting for the right ferrari chassis to come along now, keep getting outbid at the moment.

Its going to be a road legal track / hillclimb car.

how much does an F40 chassis go for??

there is a company knocking out new F40 chassis IIRC you can have them 100% identical to original or your own spec. They also make a f40 replica using a 355/360 as a donor for engine and sundry bits.

thats enzo designs, I believe they have only built one demo car, and its not that nice from pics I have seen of it.

Simpsons are the ones who make the chassis, I think they have some kind of tie in with enzo designs.

I will probably go the 355 route and space frame it, as it has exactly the same wheelbase as the f40, engine wise not sure yet, depends what pops up, but as modern a ferrari one as I can find

It will be a bit like the Glickenhaus Enzo / P4/5 but on a budget

I thought I would want an exhaust on my F430 as well.

but you don't need or want one.

The standard exhaust is AMAZING.

fucking amazingly loud when you want it to be. and very very quiet if you want it to be as well.

I have modified and fiddled with every car I have ever owned.... apart from the Donkey. Its just perfect as it is.

If you are tall you will need the rare sports seats as the Daytonas and std seats are a bit high.

I 100% agree with the above i didnt really have much issue with the seat and im 6'2 but im not 100 sure which seats are in there.

Having driven Lees I totally agree on the standard exhaust thing, sounds amazing at high rpm, like a full on race car, if you floor it through a tunnel at low rpm it sounds like a big burbling yank v8, and yet when you are sat just cruising along at 100 you can have a conversation over it and it isnt intrusive, perfect all round IMHO, its almost like the people at ferrari know what they are doing

Porkie, i think you are right, my 348 had to have a sports exhaust, and i thought the 360 would too, but when he started it up i thought yes deffo needs exhaust until he revved it!!!!!!!!!!!best of both worlds Its nice to see they have the ventilation system sorted the 348 blew like a fat kid with a mouth full of cake.

Ade hopefully Saturday.
