Wrong forum I know but need an urgent answer

I've put a cd player into my old dears '95 Civic which was a bit of a pain cos to get the old unit out you have to drop the glovebox/lower facia/centre lower facia.

Now the fookin thing won't start
Turns over but won't even think of firing.

I've not touched anything, even used a patch cable to fit the stereo.

The only thing I can think of is on the lower trim panel under the steering wheel there is a reciever which I think is for the remote locking (which works fine) was just wondering if there is a transponder in the key tho, and maybe unpluging that unit is causing the prob. (Haynes book of lies says just unplug it tho)

Anyone know if these cars have a transponder in the key?
If so how to reprogram?

Any other ideas?
I've checked obvious things like fuses

Found out it does have transponders in the keys, anyone know how to program?
