There's a Clio that races in Ireland, I've seen it.
Has two Blackbird engines side by side in the back. Fucking quick in a straight line........
Sounds weird too

Welcome to Dubsport,
One of the UK's leading Volkswagen specialists, and creators of some of the wildest Golfs in the WORLD!
Ian Birch, owner of Dubsport, pioneered the use of * two engines in a road car * when he debued his Golf Rallye in 1997, it featured not only * a VR6 engine in the front, but another VR6 in the back! * With a combined 364bhp and four wheel drive, it won the quarter mile at virtualy every show it attended, * and being fully road legal, * was driven to and from them all as well! Several more mental projects have followed, each more extreme than the last.

And this the last time im appearing in this monkey court

Kim and Yvonne Mather used to rally a twin engined scirocco which is road legal, and that was back in the 80's and early 90's - so Dubsport

Tony's right!
I remember that Scirrocco coming into service at Elsmere Port (Vauxhall Plant) back in '89. As Kim went to pull forward into the control, he stalled one of the engines. He restarted No. 2 engine and pulled forward. Didn't 'arf sound weird!
RAC outlawed the car fairly soon afterwards if I remember correctly? Tony?

A twin engined something or other but was twin engined, bikes maybe but still twin engined, had two gear levers but linked as one but could be unlinked and run seperate (so can use only one engine if wanted, economy lol).

But deffo twin engined and deffo road legal.

Put the hob nobs away tiff or at least send some over here

If i got all that lot wrong i feel like shit and only had 3 hrs kip in the last 48 and thats my excuse and am sticking to it

Just wish i could remember the name of the car, wasp or something similar, gonna bug me now

Bernie, You have a good memory. It did get banned from competition yes, only because it was winning everything Kim still has it and it lives a mere 5 miles from me. Was last used a few years ago during a demonstration run on a local event. It is still legal and is still painted in the United Footwear livery

That particular run was 2.9 secs

On your last link it states a time of 2.8 for a 4wd version with 2x ZX12 engines
