cheers for the comments guys, Its a group 4 escort shell so basically same as rally car with the strengthening stitch welding cage etc,long turret suspension on the rear and six linked rear axle ,So yes can go round corners and track days and is road legal,have another set of springs for track which are alot stiffer,Thats what makes it more impresive as its an allrounder and not just built for one thing,and is all steel body which makes it alot heavier than some,so allways have the option of making it lighter lol, carbon panels spring to mind ,,,,,,

Am I the only one that noticed the fluffed 2nd to 3rd gearchange on the 9.7 second run! I fluff a change like that I lose half a second! How on earth did that still run a 9.7 @ 143!

Fair play because I've seen you and the car at Shakespeare and it's an awesome bit of kit and I mean truely amazing! So much respect for running those times in a 2 wheel drive let alone a mark 2 escort!

I had a chat to you at shakespeare and I complemented you on your stunning car but that doesn't change the fact that you had a slow change from 2nd to 3rd and hit that f*cking amazing time!!! Pretty sure I was running a skyline running very low 11's that day and I wasn't even interested in my times compared to yours lol

we had abit of an engine problem at the vauxhall show so were just on with collecting new parts for it. i am hoping to get it sorted in time for totb.. i think u should run at totb you should do really well imo

it probably would mate but they dont allow slicks lol even though there not drag slicks they still have no tred,and the Mt et street dont do a nice size for my rims

what would it run on treaded tyres, like toyo 888s?

last time i used them it was shoking 11.5 i think and something like 2.3 60ft but was still spinning in 4th,even with 10 psi in them

im on 5 year old toyo 888`s, think i best buy some drag tyres, fit my flat shift at some point and have a propper go.
