You may laugh, but MK1 Orion 1.6i models are quite rare these days! You don't see very many at all. Still a few 1.3 and 1.6 carbs about, but injection ones aren't common at all.

All that said however, it still isn't worth anything like Ł4k

I like 16i ghia Onions and had one years ago for my first car. Was really easy to drive and thrash every where. Massively comfortable and you could drive it for ages without getting tired. I'm sort of half looking for another but god they are rare!!! I'm not paying 4k for one though!!

I bought a mk1 Orion ghia inj 3 years ago for 750 and was better specced and far less miles than this 1,sold it for 1200,never welded,orig pain etc,the lad who has it now Is asking 3500 for it,defo rare and I love them too!

Hate the mk3 onion,looks so dated in white with wheeltrims (although that coud be considered a good thing!!!!) but for some strange reason I like the mk4 version,although I would never choose a mk4 escort over a mk3.
