my lil FRST seems to be running like a bag of spanners, all lumpy at idle and bumpy delivery low down in the rev range/round town........ but when its revving higher its fine????

when was the last time it was set up?

did it just start doing it all of a sudden? ofab/ofac dosent tend to go out of spec. when did it last have a set of plugs

my frst was running like that, after a set up it was absolutely fine.

if he was driving around fine one day then all of a sudden it starts driving like crap chances are if he hasent changed any think it wont need a set up unless it was running mfi. who set your car up btw?

and you would be right. but he didnt say it started all of a sudden so i was just brainstorming. lets face it could be a load of reasons why its doing it.

its kinda slowly gotten worse....

have recently had new plugs, leads and a alloy breather system, at first after changing all of this, it was running lovely, but now its searching little at idle and just lumpy....

been way too long since it had a set up though....

Jim get the car to MSD Blackpool they are the best in the NW - not sure what they can do to it if i remember right it was a OFAC car - don't know what you have had done since you bought it but it was completely standard never chipped

its still very much the same chris, no chips or boost increases, just the mongoose and now an alloy oil breather set up, as the standard item failed, there's a place local to me i have used before, on my old S1 ERST and they did a great job, so undecided as to who to use.....
