I love the way that Phil just said to me above that he wouldnt blame me if i was his tuner and something went wrong with his engine, but at the same time is blaming Karl for something, not cause Karl recomended it, just cause Karl happened to see he used it on his own engine.

That I'm affraid is how Philipa is.
He asks questions, receives answers, and then selectively uses this information to draw his own ill found conclusions. ROFLOL
Phil blames me for his block cracking, yet in the past 5 years I have not had one single failure of this type on any YB engine I've built and many of them are running 30psi+.
Remember if you tell Philip anything, no matter how small a piece of info, if he uses this information in anyway whatsoever, whether correctly or incorrectly, or without the complete picture, should anything go wrong, again either directly or indirectly, you are in Philips eyes completely wrong and 100% to blame.
It simply is not possible that Philip could be remotely wrong as his preparation and development work is second to none, and his extensive experience means that in no way could it be an error in the parts/specs/build that he has used!!

Chip, you're quite right mate, and if you notice, I don't usually give out advice as it's bitten me on the arse more than one time. It's just too time consuming to explain why I do each thing the way I do, but if people don't know the full story its pointless just going on one piece of info!!

I know what you mean, its bad enough in real life, but its far worse on forums, at least when you are teaching someone in person you can say "now explain that back to me" or whatever to check people have understood you not just heard you, but on a forum you dont get that luxury and potentially you are giving advice to dozens of different people who will all read it slightly differently.

Karl,
While you are on-line, what are your views on 205 blocks for big power ???

Hi Doug, blocks are a strange issue actually.
There are 200 blocks that I avoid like the plague and likewise there are 205 blocks to avoid. Unfortunetly due to our favorite friend Philip I refuse to share any more info on anything technical on PF as Phil uses it to slander my name!!!

On this side You can see some bether quality of the figures of the engine. You can also download a small film from the dyno. In the first post it is writen Bremsing right click and save as. Think You need Divex to look at it.
