Default Current scrap metal price?

Whats the current scrap metal price? I've been told the price is high at the moment so was going to get rid of my stuff this week. I've got about 2 tonnes worth at a guess, a MK3 escort shell, MK6 escort shell and various other bits. Last time I scrapped a shell I got £140 for a MK3 Fiesta shell.

Mate got £175 for a Vectra with no wheels, then £40 for the wheels after he took the tyres off.

For a Pinin ? £200 minus wheels if alloy, then £50 with no tyres.
9" disc cutter thro' the bead and rim helps gets the tyres off quick, I did 12..

I called a local place to weigh in my FRST shell

I got told it would go as light iron at £110 a ton which looking at the link below is low, might have to haggle the price up !!
