still waiting on work to send my new tax disc out after the original one they sent got lost in the post..or so they say..question is, can i get fined etc for not displaying the disc or has that all changed now due to the police being able to check from your reg? cheers

You can only display the previous months disc for 5 days, assuming the new one has been paid for online or over the phone, NOT at a P.O or D.V.L.A, so 5th of June was your last day.

Ring them and tell them you are staying at home till it arrives.

Mine didn't turn up till the 2nd June despite me reminding them on the 24th and being told on the 1st it was sent on the 20th, pity it had the 31st stamped on the disc when it did arrive.

We had someone double up for nearly 2 weeks last month till his duplicate arrived.

I had an astra motability car n thay send your tax disk 14 days or so b4 it runs out i forgot to put it in drove for a month on old disk it wont get flaged of anpr but if you get a wide eyed copper whos an arse you will get a ticket for not desplaying tax disk

hmmm getting a fine for not displaying is what im concerned about..especially as the first thing my gaffer said to me was i was responsible for it..
