air injectors
can someone please explain the benefits of air injectors for an engine - i have seen them on quite a few of the big bhp yb engines, but i was struggling to understand what they do.
i initially thought similar to a turbo when i heard about them, but then saw that they are mounted on the cam pulleys, or there abouts, so just curious of the benefits of them

so it is to feed air into the turbo and has nothing to do with the cam pulleys other than the fact that this is where they are mounted?

Air injectors are a method
of boost control which allow
us to very precisely regulate
directly to the wastegate
actuator to control the boost.
now it makes perfect sense
