Default RS2000 conversion on mk6 escort GTi

The guy i bought the car off of converted a rear drum beam to an RS2000 rear disk beam on the mk6 escort i now own. Only problem is the car has ABS and it is a non-ABS rear beam, so the ABS light stays on and that would fail an MOT.

What would i have to do to make it ABS, or what are my options?

The RS2000 with rear disc braked beam, did not have rear ABS. Only the later rear drum braked beam equipt'd RS2000's had rear ABS.

I was goning to take the bulb out, but if a car has ABS the MOT tester has to check the instrument pannel and se if the light comes on and goes out again to show it is working so there was no point in doing that.

I've seen RS2000 disk beams for sale that are none ABS and i havn't come across any that are equiped with ABS.

I've seen in a thread that you have to get them 'machined' or something but the cost was around Ł500 and im not going to pay that lol.
