Hello,


So ive seen a cheap new turbo but think its got 270 bearing, is it easy to change them to a 360?

Then again i am unsure if it is 270 or 360 and i did ask and they dont know either! So how would i find out?

you wont know until you get the turbo taken apart i dont think its a massive amount of money to get it changed to a 360 bearing

you need to strip the turbo down so no it's not easy

Oh then how long would the 270 last? Also would it be worth paying someone to open it up and find out whats inside then if its 270 get the 360 put in? If so how much would you say it would cost? £50-100? £100-200?

not sure how much it would cost maybe 300 max,anything above stage 1 power i would say the 270 bearing will start to struggle

300 ooo, didn't think it would be as much. To get mine rebuilt i have been told about 350-400 and thats a few new parts.

Gotta have cash to spend Only just got money for the turbo! Was thinking of doing the patch work quilt job and just getting a few bits painted on the car so it dont look to bad. Then again if i go fast everywhere it will only look a blur. lol

But if i did it that way then i could get the full spray when the money comes in.
