A few practical questions about a MK2 Focus RS...
I've read on here about how much people are enjoying their FRS' and I was impressed when I drove my friends car a year or so ago. But I've got a few practical questions about these cars.
- How often do they require servicing? When is the major service due?
- How much does the servicing cost at a Ford Dealer?
- How much is it likely to cost to extend the manufacturers warranty?
- I have read the MPG figures quoted, but what sort of economy are people getting from these cars in the real world?
Cheers,
Grant

Servicing is every 12.5k costs about £200, think the major is at 60k and around £350

my mate got about 20/25mpg and then tuned it to 440bhp and was getting 120/140 miles to a tank lol....
but thats because he had a brick strapped to his foot, but it was an awesome car, he found jamsport were cheaper for servicing, the main cost is front tyres it realy went through them and were £310 for two contis..... but then fitted michelin and it was alot better so worth paying the bit extra.....

The car isn't for me unfortunately!!
The car will actually be for my old dear, her mileage has reduced from c23k per year to c8k a year... so is possibly looking to get rid of her E92 320d and get something that's a bit more practical, with reasonable running costs and a bit different to the norm.
TBH, the car is likely to get a pretty easy life... It'll never see any stop-start traffic, will likely pootle through 30 limits, the occasional 50 limit and rarely see the wrong side of 70mph. So hoping to get a minimum return of 25mpg on average, any lower than that would probably mean looking at something else.
