They are fucking awesome, very tunable and very robust. Suspension arms can be a pain in the arse as it's all multilinked so there are 6 pieces each side in teh front suspension. Pattern items are total shit so O/E quality items is an absolute must.

I am really hoping one of these will be my next car

Default s4

They are the dogs danglies mate, had mine 18 months, had it chipped at mrc in oxford, took the power to 340 bhp and just under 400lbs torque, its quick, smooth and 100% reliable.. prob the best car i've ever owned. Some parts are expensive.. and other bits are cheap.. rear pads cost me £20 the other day.. on the other hand, an a b s sensor was almost £200... but as a rule they dont go wrong

theres facelifted versions, changed on 1999.

I run one as daily, love it. Puts out 480bhp at 7k with 500lb of torque, 400lb at 2700.

I map my own ECU, programmed in launch control the other day:

Quality bit of kit, mine had 150k on it as was like it left the factory. Excellent car and really wish i still had it! wasn't expecting much for the 3k i got it for but on the drive home i put my foot down and it went like a rocket! best performance for your pound but far!

A mate of mine has one for sale with Porsche breaks engine mods 18s. In silver it is an awesome car. Not seen him for a while but saw it for sale for £4500. Alot of car for that money I thought.
