You Tube comment
With over 900,000 hits on my you tube 206mph videos I get alsorts of comments ranging from complimentary to down right abusive 
.
However this one took my eye. Not sure what the going rate is to bribe a TV channel but more than i can afford i expect.
Ive replied only once before to any comments but this reply intrigued me. Its strange he quotes my 2002 speed of 175mph at totb1 so maybe he had a Cossie connection back then. So i made him an offer.
'lies lies lies the 206mph is completely bullshit.. this car done 175 max back in the day bribes were how you got yer cossie to 200mph '
A passengers ride in the car when it attempts the Topspeed record later this year.

I think this may be a long thread of people on here wanting to have a passenger ride to verify that the top speed for rods car is 206mph. I would also like to nominate myself to be a judge of the top speed. LOL

I've never met Rod, but I've read on here that in person he's actually a decent chap to talk to etc. Now I'm not one to disagree with that, but I can see why people get the opinion that he's a sad little man from the way he comes across on here and will jump at the opportunity to mention his car/records.
In all honesty, I don't think you REALLY get that worked up about a youtube comment that is clearly stupid, I think it was just an opportunity to post about it on here again.

Totally agree with that.never met the guy and I'm sure he's a top bloke but fuck me does he go on about the fact his car does 200mph,which it clearly does,its just we all know about it now!!!
There are some contradictions as well with replies like "I just fill up and hand the card over,why are you questioning petrol prices on a modified car forum" to "bt have charged me 7p more on my bill as were trying to save money".
Does get a bit annoying.
