Default low valve guide? Efi cvh

ive bought an efi head for my conversion and im just strippin it down for work on it to be carried out and noticed one of my ex valve guides is far too low, so low the stem seal dont even touch it let alone seal round it, ive tried to knock it back up a bit but its solid so i doubt its dropped on its own, whats caused this any ideas? An do u think i will need a new guide? Thanx for any info in advance

not sure on why this is the case, but i've recently got mine changed (exhaust guide had cracked causing the valve to stick alittle).

CTM in dagenham can change this, believe its £4 a new guide plus labour to fit. I changed the set for peace of mind as knowing my luck another would soon fail after fitting it back up.

They move after being seriously over heated, I've had heads where they could be pushed in/out by hand when seriously over heated, it needs sorting, either knurl the existing one and refit or use new one, otherwise you run the risk of it dropping when hot.
I'd get a machine shop to do this, they will no doubt check the others also.

Most likely valve to piston contact.
