Im about to start my own garage business and I need to know which companies are good for Motor trade insurance and also Business, Equipment and Public Liability Cover????

i run my own garage 3 staff large turnover mot centre etc etc e use bollington motor trade, been with them since day one, 10 mill public, cant remember what the employers is, all buildings all portable tools , all plant tools, ramps, mot equipment, cash in transit unlimited amount of cars owned by the garage, no limit of car value for repair or to drive, sdp for all employees, business interuption, ramps and compressor inspection we pay about £2600 a year

thats cheap that tricky mines £4000 tho its based in pr1 which is a nightmare for insurance im on same cover as you tho
have you ever had to claim tho? as mine is shit hot at claims alwas payed out no problem with no premium increase either

Im with AON

they cover all my tools / buildings / public and imployers liability / no limit on value of cars / all my own cars and bikes covered

just under 4k

There are much cheaper insurers out there but you need to read the small print very well

Most trade insurance will not cover you out of working hours etc

Plus cover on your own cars is at TRADE value , so if anything happens to your pride and joy you get nothing
